South Nyanza Sugar Company Limited, a key player in the Sugar Industry in Kenya wishes to enhance its human capital base by filling the following senior management positions with talented and qualified Kenyan citizens:

Warehouse Manager (I post)

Reporting to Head of Procurement, the Warehouse Manager will be responsible for:

• Putting in place stores management aligned within the Sony Sugar annual procurement plans and budgets.
• Liaise with user departments for timely service delivery.
• Manage store/warehouse staffs and inventory control.
• Exercise perfect knowledge of stores management, JIT KANBAN systems in supply chain stream.
• Ensure inventory directory level within the organization.

Person’s Specification

• Degree in business related field
• Diploma in Purchasing and Supplies Management
• Over three years relevant work experience which must have been gained at managerial level in a large and busy manufacturing concern
• A full member of KISM/CIPS.
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of Public Procurement and Disposal Act 2005 and Regulations 2006.
• Mature person with proven leadership qualities.
• Aged 30 years and above.
