The Aga Khan University, Nairobi invites applications from suitably qualified individuals for the following positions:
EDUCATIONAL TECHNOLOGIST
The Educational Technologist will work with faculty, students and Information & Communication Technology (ICT) support team to design/adapt and offer new and/or existing courses for blended learning. S/he will adapt and apply appropriate pedagogic strategies and techniques, and principles of instructional design to create blended learning experiences for adult learners. S/he will also advise faculty on the appropriate uses of ICT in blended learning contexts.
- Applicants must have a Masters Degree in Education or Educational Technology or Instructional Design.
- The ideal candidate should have a minimum of three years of relevant teaching, curriculum design and/or educational research experience.
- The successful candidate must have excellent technology skills in productivity software, Google Apps and other Free and Open Source Software.
- Knowledge of basic programming, graphic manipulation, editing video and audio will be an added advantage.
