PROJECT ENGINEER
The Danish Refugee Council has been providing relief and development services in the Horn of Africa region since 1997. The DRC Kenya Program seeks to fill the following positions to be based in Dadaab Refugee Camp.
Working under the guidance of the Head of Construction, the Project Engineer will be in charge of all on-site operations, working with contractors and sub-contractors to ensure that building contracts run on schedule.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. Holders of Higher National Diploma in Civil or Structural Engineering with over 5 years experience will be considered.
- At least 5 years experience in supervision of civil construction works, experience in preparation of technical drawings and bills of quantities for civil works.
- Good communication skills with demonstrated ability to plan, schedule, assign, and forge working relationships at all levels.
