SENIOR ACCOUNTANT
Department: Finance
Reports to: Chief Financial Officer
Job objectives
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Senior Accountant will be responsible for implementation of company’s financial policies and plans
Key Responsibilities
- Provide assistance with formulation and implementation of sound financial management strategies policies and systems.
- Preparation of group monthly management accounts, quarterly reporting and annual financial and statutory accounts.
- Assist senior management during group financial planning process
- Expenditure control, variance analysis and reporting.
- Maintain accurate books of accounts
- Maintain up to date recording and tracking of company assets.
- Ensure that financial computer systems are properly maintained and configured.
- Payroll preparation
- Filing statutory returns
- Staff supervision and development.
- Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time
- Qualifications in Accounting.
- Strong IT background.
- 5Years intensive working experience; printing or advertising industry will be an added advantage.
