Job Title: Country Human Resources Manager

The role and responsibilities
Reporting to the Country Director, as Country HRM, you will be responsible for all HR activities and strategy across the programme.
- You will work closely with the Country Director and the Country Senior Management team to implement and deliver key initiatives, which support the overall business objectives. You will also manage a team of 4-6 people.
- Your key responsibilities in this role will include understanding the business goals and objectives and supporting these goals through the people agenda; providing leadership and guidance to managers and teams in people planning, recruitment and selection processes; organisational development and change management, talent management, learning and development, and in a series of other HR business processes including performance management.
- Gender & diversity mainstreaming is a crucial aspect that is key to our programming work; therefore you will creatively mainstream gender, promote change in work approaches and enhance diversity in the organisation.
- Management of administration across the programme will also be a key aspect of your role.
- You will have a professional qualification in Human Resource Management with a proven substantial HR experience of driving the business strategy and supporting managers and teams on HR and Administration issues.
- This is a demanding and challenging role and you will be a strategic thinker with the ability to tackle issues with creative and practical solutions, and an excellent communicator.
- You will be flexible and will have highly developed interpersonal skills with a high level of diplomacy and the ability to forge effective working relationships at all levels in the organisation.
- You will have experience working with an international NGO and operating in different countries with a multicultural context.
