The international humanitarian organization Médecins sans Frontières – France, Somalia Mission is seeking for it’s coordination office in Nairobi
DRIVER
The selected candidate will be reporting to the Capital Logistician and s/he will be responsible for local movements and assists with local purchase of goods:Generally, s/he will be responsible for:
- Safe transport of goods and persons as requested by MSF.
- Assist the Capital log with local purchases of goods in respect to the set procedure.
- Ensure proper maintenance of the car.
- Make well organized deliveries to the guesthouses, other MSF sections etc
Requirements:
- Valid and clean driving license. Possession of class BCE will be an added advantage.
- 3-5 years of driving and purchasing experience preferably with an NGO
- Possession of a valid certificate of good conduct will be an added advantage.
- Basic knowledge of car-mechanics.
- A good knowledge of Nairobi area and the road network in Nairobi / Kenya.
- Good communication skills in English and Kiswahili (both written and spoken).
- Team player with ability to pay attention to details (precise).
- Flexible and able to work in a demanding and challenging work environment.
- Humanitarian spirit.
- Available to start as soon as possible.
