Required Competencies
- Degree or previous experience in management of social projects Previous experience in administration and management of EC projects
- Fluency in spoken and written English
- Previous experience in Africa developing countries, in particular in Kenya, for at least 4/5 years Team working oriented
Cesvi is active in Kenya in Nairobi's surroundings with a project supporting children affected by disabilities and in Dadaab camp with a project financed by Italian cooperation on SWM and abattoirs' rehabilitation. Ultimately we are starting in Dadaab with some projects focused on primary emergency in order to face the drought affecting the entire Africa Horn. The current project aims to achieve mainly 3 goals:
- Strenghten and support government of Kenya, local authorities and No-state actors in preventing and combating WFCL;
- Creation of CSR and public and private public partnership to fight worst forms of CL in Embakasi, Kasarani, Njiru, Suba, Siaya, and Kisumu districts;
- Ensure Children participation in addressing Child labour issues at national and local level.
The Project Coordinator will have the following responsibilities:
- general coordination, technical direction and activities supervision;
- project implementation as per approved proposal;
- administrative and financial supervision;
- monitoring and evaluation of all the activities carried out directly from Cesvi and/or the other implementing partner.
