QA/QC Assistant Engineer at Sanergy

Job description

The QA/QC Assistant shall support the QA/QC Lead to help in the Quality Assessment of the construction site. The candidate shall work towards ensuring the end-to-end optimal quality compliance of the raw materials and structures at the construction site.

Key Duties and Responsibilities


  • Ensure that QA/QC records are maintained and stored correctly on BIM 360 according to quality procedures.
  • To be responsible for the inspection of the workmanship and practices of contractors and/or crews engaged in construction.
  • Conduct on-site observation and spot-checks of work in progress.
  • To assist in setting up and populating an Index and maintain files for all quality and turnover documentation.
  • Assist in setting up a QA/QC inspections test schedule based on construction work packages issued.
  • Assist in developing timeline for handover activities as per the agreed upon project schedule and commissioning schedule.
  • Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the QA QC lead.

Must-haves


  • An undergraduate in a relevant field such as mechanical/ civil/ electrical engineering.
  • Basic technical knowledge of construction material or construction processes.
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize action items based on the needs and urgency into short, mid-term, and long term.
  • Full-time or internship experience working in a QA/QC role either at a construction site, a manufacturing facility, etc.

Nice-to-have


  • Experience working with BIM 360.
  • Collaborative – willing to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders and able to effectively communicate action points to the required stakeholders for their action
