Manager at a Government Guest House in Garissa

Applicants are invited for the post of Manager at government guest house, Garissa.

Applicants must be Kenyan aged between 25-35 years and have the following qualifications:

Manager

• KCSE C+ with C plain in English language and C plain in Mathematics.
• Diploma in Hotel and catering Management from a recognized institution.
• Proficient in computer knowledge and its applications.
• Previous experience of four (4) years and above in tourist or middle class hotels is mandatory.
• Accounting knowledge would be an added advantage.

The salary scale and benefits attached to post are:

• Basic salary of ksh 30,000 per month, with yearly increment of ksh 1000 per month
• Free housing within the facility compound.
• Annual leave 30 working days

The contract may be terminated by not less than one month ‘s notice to be given by either party in writing or otherwise by the payment of either party in lieu of the notice of not less than one month’s salary/wages.

This post is a challenging position which calls for total commitment to work. The appointment will be on a one (1) year contract basis renewable depending on performance.
