The Assistant Procurement Officer is responsible for procurement support.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Act as secretary to the procurement committee
- Circulation of tender documents and quotations
- Tracking procurement assignments
- Inspection of stores
- Carrying out periodic market surveys
- Making recommendations for disposal of unserviceable and/or other stores
- Assisting in preparation of bid documents
- Performing any other duties as may be assigned from time to time
Qualifications
- Diploma in purchasing and supplies management
- At least 2 years work experience in similar role
- Knowledge of the Public Procurement Act and Regulations
- Proficiency in computer application
