The Regional Finance Officer (RFO), answerable to the Horn of Africa Area Program Manager (APM) will be responsible for the financial systems and processes that enable us to deliver our work, and meet Headquarter’s and Donor requirements. We need an RFO who can ensure that we have stringent financial and reporting procedures that are reliably followed – and in so doing safeguard resources and minimize risk, more than satisfy the needs of donors and public accountability, and most importantly facilitate the
effective delivery of our work. Moreover, the incumbent will be responsible for managing the accounts of the Ethiopia-Kenya Cross-Border (REACH) Program.
We want to hear from you if you have a recognised senior accountancy qualification and/or a degree or diploma in Finance; experience at senior level in the finance department of, preferably but not necessarily, a development organisation; proficiency in Word/Excel and QuickBooks accounting or a similar system; experience in managing accounts for private and institutional funding streams; are committed to working with marginalized communities,and you have excellent written and spoken English.
